Our Team

Georgiann Jensen, OD

Georgiann Jensen ODGeorgiann Jensen OD completed her undergraduate work at Bethany Lutheran College, the University of Minnesota, and Indiana University. She then went on to receive her doctorate from the Indiana School of Optometry. She has worked at the Blaine Eye Clinic since 1991 and, prior to becoming a partner in 1994, she worked at a private practice in Cambridge, Minnesota. She also has teaching experience in anatomy, physiology, and ocular pathology at St. Cloud Technical College for the Optometric Assisting program. She is a member of the North Metro Chamber of Commerce and has served as a trustee on the Minnesota Optometric Association Board. She also served as coordinator of the Minnesota Vision Project.

Dr. Jensen is a family-orientated optometrist with a strong interest in glaucoma and retinal disease. She enjoys serving her patient’s individual needs and her philosophy is to spend quality time with each patient. Her caring manner is appreciated by patients of all ages.  Just as all members of our team do, Dr. Jensen truly believes that her patients’ eyes are a treasure to be valued.

During her spare time, Dr. Jensen volunteers with the youth at her church, works with her husband, K.C., at his outdoor retail store in Cambridge and is mother to Jenna, Ryan and Megan. She loves spending time with her family and friends, biking, boating, and playing piano.
