Breann Forliti, OD is originally from Cambridge, Minnesota. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Computer Information Systems from St. Cloud State University and attended graduate school at Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. In May of 2008, she received her Doctorate of Optometry degree. While attending optometry school, she served as a class officer and was the chairperson for the Department of Intra-Professional Relations, serving as a liaison between students and local and state optometric societies.
During her optometric studies, Dr. Forliti trained at several rotations, including the Lawton Indian Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma, the VA hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and an inner-city clinic in South Central Los Angeles, California. She feels these experiences have greatly influenced her in helping patients get the best possible care. Her professional interests include contact lenses, glaucoma, and primary care optometry.
Dr. Forliti’s interest in optometry developed over the years as she held several positions working as a member of Blaine Eye Clinic throughout high school and college. She was influenced by her father, Dr. Sulerud, and colleagues who have a heartfelt interest in helping their patients. She feels honored to be a part of the clinic that her father began while she was a child and is anxious to carry on the legacy of quality care.
Dr. Forliti and her husband, Jesse, enjoy time with family and friends and are involved in community activities.
