Dr. Lynn A. Sulerud
Dr. Lynn A. Sulerud grew up in northwestern Minnesota and studied pre-optometry at Concordia College in Moorhead. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon where he also earned his Doctorate of Optometry. After receiving his degree, Dr. Sulerud completed extended training in the treatment and management of eye disease from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
Dr. Sulerud started his optometric career as an associate in a private practice in Cambridge, Minnesota with the ultimate goal of owning his own practice. He was the founder of the Blaine Eye Clinic, which he started in the Pioneer Village Mall in 1979.
Dr. Sulerud's priority is educating his patients about their eyes, giving them the tools to make "informed decisions" about their eye care and eye wear. His specialty is problem solving, and he strives to help individuals with difficult situations concerning their visual needs. He has served as chairman of the Third Party Committee of the Minnesota Optometric Association and on the State Fair Health Fair committee. Dr. Sulerud and his family took part in a Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity mission to Jamaica examining eyes and distributing glasses to the underprivileged. He has been active in the Jaycees, the Cambridge-Isanti Hockey Association, is an arena board member and a member of the North Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Sulerud and his wife Valerie, have three children: Breann, Nate and Mindy. He enjoys golfing, hunting, outdoor activities and being a good steward to the earth.
Dr. Georgiann Jensen
Dr. Georgiann Jensen completed her undergraduate work at Bethany Lutheran College, the University of Minnesota, and Indiana University. She then went on to receive her Doctorate from the Indiana School of Optometry. She has worked at the Blaine Eye Clinic since 1991and prior to becoming a partner in 1994 she worked in private practice in Cambridge, Minnesota. She also has teaching experience in anatomy, physiology, and ocular pathology at St. Cloud Technical College for the Optometric Assisting program. She is a member of the North Metro Chamber of Commerce and has served as a trustee on the Minnesota Optometric Association Board. She also served as coordinator of the Minnesota Vision Project.
Dr. Jensen is a family orientated optometrist with a strong interest in glaucoma and retinal disease. She enjoys serving her patient's individual needs and her philosophy is to spend quality time with each patient. Her caring manner is appreciated by patients of all ages. Dr. Jensen truly believes that her patients" eyes"are a treasure to be valued."
During her spare time, Dr. Jensen volunteers with the youth at her church, works with her husband, K.C., at his outdoor retail store in Cambridge and is mother to Jenna, Ryan and Megan. She loves spending time with her family and friends, biking, boating, and playing piano.
Dr. Ryan Fedor
Dr. Ryan Fedor, originally from St. Cloud, Minnesota, received his Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. He received his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Pacific University College of Optometry in 2005.
During his optometric education, Dr. Fedor trained at a Mayo Clinic affiliated site. He is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa, the International Optometric Honor Society. Dr. Fedor has taken part in an Amigo's Eye care International vision relief mission in El Salvador and Special Olympics vision screenings in both Oregon and Minnesota.
Dr. Fedor's areas of interest within optometry are: primary care, treatment of ocular disease, urgent care services, pediatrics and contact lenses. He is a participating provider in the InfantSEE® program and is a member of both the American and Minnesota Optometric Associations.
During his spare time Dr. Fedor enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing and taking in Twins games with his wife, Jessica.
Dr. Breann Forliti
Dr. Breann Forliti is originally from Cambridge, Minnesota. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Computer Information Systems from St. Cloud State University and attended graduate school at Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. In May of 2008 she received her Doctorate of Optometry degree. While attending optometry school, she served as a class officer and was chairperson for the Department of Intra-professional Relations, serving as a liaison between students and local and state optometric societies.
During her optometric studies, Dr. Forliti trained at several rotations including the Lawton Indian Hospital in Lawton Oklahoma, the VA hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and an inner city clinic in South Central Los Angeles, California. She feels these experiences have greatly influenced her in helping patients get the best possible care. Her interests include contact lenses, glaucoma and primary care optometry.
Dr. Forliti's interest in optometry developed over the years as she held several positions working at the Blaine Eye Clinic throughout high school and college. She was influenced by her father, Dr. Sulerud, and colleagues who have a heartfelt interest in helping their patients. She feels honored to be a part of the clinic that her father began while she was a child and is anxious to carry on the legacy of quality care.
Dr. Forliti and her husband Jesse enjoy time with family and friends and are involved in community activities.
